Daniel Klein and team who are some of my new heroes for the past year have these amazing videos all about local food and cuisine in Minnesota. Each week for an entire year he did a new video post about everything from squirrel hunting, to bison butchering, to mushroom hunting and maple syrup tapping. These videos featured not only the amazing individuals whose products and processes they were, but also recipes. The Klein Team now wants to take the show on the road and they need our help in several ways. This is a great opportunity to get involved. In his words over at Grist;
We want this cross country film project to be made up of the stories you tell us. So, do you have an opinion about what good food is? Submit a story. Know of an incredible farmer, fisherman, gardener? Tell us their story and we can get in touch with them. This project is not going to be possible without you, so check out the trailer for the trip and go to our new website. Get involved with this, and perhaps we can meet up along the way …
